Is the Stock Moe Discord and Stock Moe Patreon worth it?
Hi, everyone! Mrs. Moe here. I have so many people ask me if I can tell them a little bit about the Stock Moe Discord and Patreon. Also, people ask me why do we not open up the lower tiers? Let me explain.

First of all, Stock Moe started his Patreon very early on in the development of his YouTube channel. At that time, he did not offer anything in his Patreon. It was simply a way for people to thank Moe for giving his time to share his knowledge on YouTube. His only tier was a $5 tier back then. This is because he was still working full time teaching, and then he would come home to research and do two videos before bed. Then he would get up and do it all over again. The $5 helped because he knew that he was appreciated and all of his work (an additional 8 hours a day from his day job!) was worth it.
Eventually, people started asking him if he could start a Stock Moe Discord as a Patreon perk. He did some research on that and the Stock Moe Discord was born. Although he was really busy, he still found time to go in and chat with everyone. Around that same time, he decided that he would like to start a portfolio to show people how he was investing. Of course, he was not telling others what to buy, but it allowed others to take a peek into his investments which serves as a very strong teaching tool. Because he was doing even more work with his portfolio, he upped the tier to $10 per member. The $5 slots had sold out. Now the $10 members were receiving Discord and also the ability to see Stock Moe’s portfolio.
Stock Moe continued to work at his teaching job for months, but it was soon apparent that his views on YouTube were getting to the level that made him realize that he might be able to do YouTube as a full-time job. Stock Moe was very nervous about that prospect. He did not want to give up the security of his teaching job. However, as time went on, the teaching job became his “second job” and the YouTube channel became his top priority. He knew that this was not fair to his students at school, but he wanted to continue teaching and educating the people of the world. He decided to add on additional portfolios for people to see.
At that point, the $10 tier was close to being sold out. Stock Moe knew that he had to make a decision surrounding his teaching career. Was he going to stick to teaching high school and college level classes, or would be decide to move full time to YouTube and teach the world? Because the additional portfolios required him to be reading and researching more, and because he had many people asking him to do YouTube full time, he added the $20 tier to get a feel for whether or not people wanted him doing YouTube. Would they get the value out of $20?
The answer is yes. Stock Moe continued to build portfolios to share with members. He decided that the global classroom was right for him. He put in his sixty day notice at his teaching job. He continued to work teaching during the day and working 8-9 hours on YouTube and Stock Moe Discord and Patreon after school.
The $10 tiers had sold out, and Stock Moe was creating content and managing 8 different portfolios for his Stock Moe Patreon. His lowest tier was $20 a month. That $20 a month allowed people to go into Discord and talk with Moe and ask him questions. Also, Patreon gives subscribers the ability to message creators directly. People loved the idea of having a direct line to Moe.
With all of that, his work load increased. He finished his sixty days out finishing up teaching at his day job, and then switched over to working full time on YouTube and his Stock Moe Discord and Patreon. Now even though he wasn’t going to school during they day, he had his global classroom and was reaching 182 out of 195 countries in the world. The $20 donation supported Moe through his 14-16 hour work days. He was also providing a Stock Moe Patreon bulletin which included the links to all of his portfolios plus his announcements of any buys and sells for his portfolio.
People ask, “Is the Stock Moe Discord worth it?” The answer is yes. You are supporting Moe in his mission for financial freedom for the average retail investor. You are supporting someone who has everyone’s best interest in mind. This in itself is an amazing cause! However, Stock Moe also keeps the value of the membership very high.
Here are the perks that are included with the $20 level. (the higher tiers have even more perks). Stock Moe reads and researched constantly to keep up on current stock market conditions and to stay knowledgeable on current economics, politics, and daily news that affect the markets. He also manages his 10 different portfolios. Every $20 tiered pledge member of the Stock Moe Discord and Patreon get notifications that update them on his buys and sells for his portfolio. He also goes into his Discord community almost every single day in order to chat with members. Upon checking at the time of this article, Moe has 1,597 pages of chat entries in the Stock Moe Discord. There are 25 listed on each page. There are a total of 39,920 chat entries from Moe in the Stock Moe Discord since the time that he started it. Since he has been running his Discord for almost exactly 2 years as of the time of this article, that means that he chats, on average, a total of 54 entries PER DAY. He also answers any direct messages that he receives in Patreon.
So, is it worth it for you to be able to see 10 different portfolios that Moe has created and invested in from scratch, have a direct messaging line to him in Patreon, AND the ability to chat with him in Discord?(Even if you miss him, you still have the access to read ALL of his past conversations which includes nearly 40,000 posts.) You are only donating 67 cents PER DAY in order for you to take advantage of these perks. You cannot even buy a cup of coffee with that! I will let you decide if you think it is worth it.
We hope to see you in the Stock Moe Discord taking advantage of the Stock Moe Patreon perks very soon!
